Google has put Twitter back in a prominent place in the search results. Following a major hack on Twitter last week, the Twitter carousel results were temporarily removed

In this major hack on Twitter, accounts of well-known individuals and companies were taken over and used for bitcoin fraud. At least 100,000 dollars (80,000 euros) were thereby captured. Read more about the Twitter hack in our previous article.

After four days, the so-called Twitter carousel was back in the Google search results. This is a prominent place at the top of the search results which is used to better promote news items, videos or Twitter messages. When searching for ‘Google’, for example, the latest tweets from the Google account can be found on Twitter.
